Train Town Candies

Terry and Barbara Wierschem began their first business in 1983 attending crafts shows displaying their handmade treasures. As their popularity blossomed they made the decision to open their very own store! A few years later a shop opened further down the street and they jumped on the opportunity to grow. In 1998, as the hobby community started to fade, they began to carry their first candy products. They had a dream, a dream to have an old fashion candy store with nostalgic classics and new favorites! House made fudge, hand dipped chocolates, over 90 taffy flavors, hundreds of puzzles, hundreds of cookie cutters and a few thousand other products, what more could the heart desire? Today Barbara and Terry enjoy their retirement, popping in to have donuts with the girls and to make sure that everything is in ship shape!
